YCI project implementation
Today, we had a fruitful alliance review meeting at the ECYDO office, as part of the YCI project implementation. The meeting brought together the BET-MIC alliance members and aimed to achieve two main objectives: to enhance the capacity and exchange the experiences of the alliance members, and to discuss and agree on the strategies to reach our target number of young people through our innovative SRH net model within the remaining project period. Mr. Tilahun Teshome, the Administration and Finance head of ECYDO, facilitated the first session, by sharing the best practices of ECYDO in relation to administration and finance management. At the end of the session, the alliance members gained some useful knowledge and insights, expressed their appreciation and feedback, and committed to apply them to improve their organization’s performance. The second session focused on devising possible strategies to meet the planned number of young people through our innovative SRH net model, given the project’s limited time frame. The alliance members proposed and agreed on some strategies, such as expanding our reach to more schools and training out-of-school youth.
We thank all the alliance members for their participation, engagement, and contribution to the meeting.
