Feminist Movement

Happy International Youth Day!

One of our volunteer staff, Bezawit Tesfaye, had a chance to attend a regional meeting in 𝘾𝙤𝙩𝙤𝙣𝙤𝙪, 𝘽𝙚𝙣𝙞𝙣 organized by MAMA Network from July 14-20. As the only representative from Ethiopia and a panelist, she had the opportunity to engage in profound discussions on the feminist movement, the principles guiding feminist activism in Africa, and the sexual and reproductive rights of women.
“The hospitality and kindness of the people of Benin left a lasting impression on me, as did the country’s natural beauty. I am deeply grateful to MAMA Network for inviting me to be part of this amazing conference. It was wonderful to connect with representatives from around the world, all united in our mission to make a positive impact” Bezawit Tesfaye
Thank you MAMA Network for the opportunity to participate in this important regional meeting!
